Our experience of Bancassurance

Bancassurance requires innovative technology and ergonomics and high level of security. Most of the tasks are performed by non-specialist salesmen, transactions layouts should therefore be B to C rather than B to B. Every single eventuality must be handled and reminders and follow-up features have to be implemented to link front and back-offices and insure process’ integrity. Volumes may be huge, especially during sales campaigns.

Level of security and banking system complexity require as light and generic interfaces as possible between banking and insurance systems and forbid any significant modifications of the bank seller workstation.

Thanks to parameterization and customization efficiency and full Internet architecture (light client), ANTENIA has been fully integrated to the banking architecture with very low workloads and disturbances.

Imbedded workflow was used to parameterize processes associated to every business situations and strict follow-up of pending cases.

Strong application architecture led to outstanding response time. It needed only 4 months to underwrite the first policy in a major implementation servicing 2000 salesmen and only a year to complete all features.
