7th Annual Banking Innovation Forum

The 7th Annual Banking Innovation Forum Forum was recently held on 16-17 April 2015 in Vienna, Austria. It brought together top banking professionals from across Europe engaged in promoting technological and procedural innovation across their range of banking products, distribution channels and overall business practices. It was a great opportunity for them to discuss the latest issues and key trends in this strategically important field.

The event kicked off with a focus on e-banking in the CEE and moved on to focusing on the fundamental importance of innovation itself within today's fast-developing financial institution. Optimising distribution networks was also featured as was a focus on business intelligence for SMEs. The future of asset management in e-banking was the final presentation of the day before a brief panel discussion concluded proceedings with a focus on the most promising innovations being introduced in the banking sphere.

The second day featured a broad range of extremely interesting topics including sessions on Bank 2.0+, mobile payments, innovative card products, banking digital transformation the omni-channel client and big data use.

All speakers gave thought-provoking presentations that engaged all attendees and which created generated much debate and exchange of ideas. Our Forum also gave participants ample time for networking and discussion on the latest issues and trends in banking innovation across Europe. 11th Annual Global Microfinance Forum

On 19th & 20th of March Uniglobal team held an annual "11th Annual Global Microfinance Forum". Forum was held in Istanbul and was attended by more than 100 participants. Uniglobal managed to bring together a unique group of professionals from Europe, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia & Caucasus. We started day one with a presentation on "Status and results of microfinance worldwide and in the region and Microfinance Outlook 2015", that was delivered by responsAbility. Triple Jump shared their a presentation on "Bank transformation, an investors perspective''. The fist day finished with the workshop on "Green Microfinance" conducted by MicroEnergy International.

Day 2 was mainly dedicated to alternative funding mechanisms, customer protection and role of technology. The last session of the forum was focused on the future of microfinance in the panel discussion format.

We would like to address special thanks to all the speakers, who did a great job and prepared very professional presentations with solid verbal support. Uniglobal team also thanks all the participants for their involvement and hopes to see you next year.

3rd Annual Summit for Financial Directors and Corporate Treasurers

On 12th and 13th of February 2015 Uniglobal hosted the "3rd Annual Summit for Financial Directors and Corporate Treasurers in Russia and CIS" in Moscow, Russia.

This was a successful event, and an excellent networking platform where a number of experts in corporate treasury had a chance to interact and share experiences and strategies.

The 2-days event was chaired by Vladimir Kozinets, director of Treasury and Risk department of Rolf Group, and President of the Russian Association of Corporate Treasurers and Nina Mkrtumyan, regional treasury manager of Alcatel-Lucent who lead the event successfully and gave an excellent overview of the market and initiated a lot of interesting discussions.

The conference focused on the recent legislative changes, new currency regulations, currency exchange control, centralizing treasury function through shared service centres. The industry leaders' presentations and case studies enabled the participants to have an insight into the treasury processes, such as cash pooling, factoring, currency risk hedging.

European Compensation & Benefits Forum

The European Compensation & Benefits Forum was recently held on 5th & 6th of March 2015 in Vienna, Austria. It brought together top HR and Compensation & Benefits professionals from across Europe. It was a great opportunity for them to discuss the latest issues and key trends in this strategically important field.
The conference started with an overview of the latest challenges facing HR professionals in their day-by-day work. Experts from different industries then went on to share their experiences in developing and implementing wellness programmes, pension schemes and a whole range of other benefits for employees.
In the course of the two-day conference our Chairman, Katharine Photiou from Barclays Corporate & employee Solution, created an interactive ambience and gave excellent inputs into the topics that were discussed.
All speakers gave thought-provoking presentations that engaged all attendees and which created generated much debate and exchange of ideas. Our Forum also gave participants ample time for networking and discussion on the latest issues and trends in compensation & benefits across Europe.

4th Annual Insurance Claims Management Conference

The 4th Annual Insurance Claims Management Conference was held on 22nd & 23rd January 2015 in Berlin. It brought top representatives from insurance industry, who discussed the latest issues and key trends in claims management.
The first day of the conference was opened with an overview of the legal perspective in the latest development in International claims and continue with discussions on claims operations & customer services through innovations & transformation and latest trends in underwriting & fraud.

The second day was also filled with excellent presentations exploring major trends and changes in motor claims practices and finished with claims management for large, complex claims.
In the course of the 2 days conference, our Chairman, Mark Mullin, created an interactive ambiance and gave excellent inputs on the topics that were discussed. Speakers gave notable presentations that engaged all the attendees creating and excellence atmosphere.

Travel Insurance Forum

The 2nd edition of Uniglobal's Travel Insurance Forum was held in Prague, on 4th & 5th of December. This highly successful event gathered together top internationally recognized industry leaders who had a chance to connect, network and gather information.

Over the 2 days, the keynote presenters covered the most innovative and efficient strategies for improving distribution, operations, and product development, as well as, the current and future risk and challenges in partnering with assistance and air ambulance companies, and their operational efficiency.

The conference was lead by 2 excellent Chairmen (David Parry and Carlo Palmieri), who gave valuable input on each day, creating a very interactive atmosphere where participants took active part and discussed the pressing topics in travel insurance and assistance.
